We both attended and met at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. Although we ended up at the same school, we each arrived at the decision of becoming a chiropractor in two very different ways. Tracey regularly saw a local chiropractor in high school for sports injuries and to keep her on the court. She thought it was so cool that she could go to a doctor’s appointment in pain and leave feeling better than when she went in. She eventually decided on a career as a chiropractor after working for another chiropractor in Lincoln during college.

James found himself at a crossroads in college as he was deciding what to do after he got his engineering degree, choosing between graduate school, medical school, and chiropractic school. Although he never had been to a chiropractor, himself, he loved the idea of working 1-on-1 with patients to help them get back to their lives without pain.

Although only a term apart, the two didn’t meet until the last year in chiropractic school when Tracey noticed James in his Husker t-shirt studying for upcoming board exams. They started talking over that last year, and didn’t go on their first date until James graduated and was about to take his first job as a chiropractor in Indiana. As he was working in Indiana, Tracey began her first job taking care of patients in Lincoln. Despite the 600 miles between them, they kept dating and James eventually moved back to The Good Life, where they got married.

While working in different chiropractic offices, we realized we wanted to bring our unique styles under one brand. While James’ focus is on the athletic/active patient, Tracey has developed her niche around women’s health. We realized we could help more people and bring our unique skillsets together. We’re incredibly excited about creating and molding a patient experience in our offices where patients feel at home, listened to, and empowered to take more control of their health. We’re both very passionate about health and wellness, and we’re working to establish ourselves as the first place our patients go to for help with general health and wellness goals.
